Expert tips.
Here are some guidelines to follow when handling the lenses:
-
Be very careful when removing the lenses from the machine's box to avoid any damage to the components.
-
Do not apply any pressure on the lens until the wrapping paper has been removed.
-
Wear clean gloves when removing the reflector and focusing lens from the side of the lens.
-
Ensure that no dust or debris falls on the lens when removing the wrapping paper.
-
Use a spray gun to remove any dust on the surface of the mirror before placing the lens on a special paper for optical lenses.
-
Clean the lens support frame and fixed frame to remove any dirt or dust and prevent foreign objects from falling on the lens during assembly or installation.
-
Avoid applying excessive force when installing the lens on the lens holder to prevent deformation.
-
After the lens assembly is complete, use a clean air spray gun to remove any remaining dust or foreign objects from the lens component.
Daily Inspection of Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
Before starting the machine every day to operate, check the working gas & the gas pressure of the laser. If the level of the gas pressure is inadequate, should be replaced promptly. Monitor the machine’s X-axis zero point, Y-axis zero point, Z-axis zero point, laser readiness status and ensure other buttons are not damaged (also, verify the indicator light). Monitor the mounting screws for the X-axis, Y-axis & Z-axis zero points and limit switch for each axis are responsive.
Verify the water level circulation in the chiller is adequate. If the level of the water is insufficient, add water accordingly on the fiber laser cutting machine. Monitor the external optical path’s circulating waterway to avoid leaks and address any leaks otherwise, the lifespan of the optical lens may be affected. After the completion of the cutting process, inspect the focus lens for damage. Check the external light path’s telescopic skin cavity to avoid burns or damage. After completing the daily work operation, promptly clean up the cutting waste, working area and keep the place tidy. Also, ensure that all equipment parts are clean and free of dirt and prevent placing debris on any equipment part. After the processing work is done, open the air compressor’s drain valve at the bottom of the air tank for the after draining and tightly close the valve once the waste water has drained. After the complete operation, follow the shutdown procedure and turn off the main power supply of the entire fiber laser machine.
Weekly Maintenance of Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
Highly essential to regularly clean the debris from the air outlet and ensure proper ventilation. Verify the gas path filters regularly, promptly remove any water and debris. Check the crews of the travel switch bracket are not loose regularly. Facilitate the heat dissipation of internal electrical components by cleaning the dust from the filter screen of the electric control cabinet ventilation fan in a timely manner. Also, clearly clean the protective skin cavity of the guide rail on time which prevents the damage of the guide rail, thereby extending its service life of the laser cutting machine. After installing the fiber laser cutting machine & using it for a period, it is important to readjust the level of the equipment to ensure its cutting accuracy. Check the lubrication filling of the guides and lead screws every other week to keep the moving parts lubricated & precisely which can extend the service life. Also, verify the pollution on the surface of the reflector, focusing lens and clean the optical lens in time to ensure the service life.
Cleaning The Lens
There are different methods required to clean the lenses. The flat mirror surfaces without a lens holder can use lens paper to clean as same when cleaning a reflector. For curved mirror surfaces or with a lens holder, it is good to use a cotton swab when cleaning a focusing lens.
